What a morning!

My bad morning actually started yesterday afternoon...all times are approximate

4:40 PM Pick up child from daycare to discover huge scratch on his face
4:50 PM Called Portrait Innovations to discover they cannot touch up pictures
4:51 PM Wonder what I am going to do for Father's Day cards now that I have to cancel his pictures while driving to the dry cleaners to pick up outfit for the pictures that will not be made
5:00 PM Discover that husband has just passed the dry cleaners and never called to offer to pick up the dry cleaning
5:05 PM Stuck in rush hour traffic with screaming baby
5:45 PM Finally make it home

A lot happened in between like shopping, errands, cleaning...

6:22 AM Husband gets up to go play golf (part of his Father's Day)
6:35 AM Baby starts to wake up; make bottle and feed him
7:00 AM Daddy cuts baby's nails so that he doesn't scratch himself more
7:20 AM Baby starts to fuss; put him in bed with me and discover bad smell
7:21 AM Changing dirty diaper; baby wets everywhere during the process
7:22 AM Discover blood all over baby's clothes and bib while changing his clothes
7:23 AM Get cloth to hold on baby's hand where it is bleeding from his manicure (he never screamed or flinched when he got his nails cut)
7:26 AM Baby coughs and spits up entire bottle; lucky for mommy this happens so often she was prepared with a beach towel on the floor so it all went on the beach towel (sad that this is the success of the morning, right?) baby is only wearing a diaper and is totally covered; begins to laugh and kick is his spit-up
7:30 AM Give baby bath; good thing he is so darn cute and happy
7:35 AM Finger is still bleeding! Blood on mommy; blood on carpet; blood on crib sheet (just little dots but still)
7:40 AM Try a little bandage while I am holding him; it comes off
7:45 AM Try a bigger bandage and put on a mitten; I am paranoid about him swallowing a bandage since he puts his hands in his mouth constantly but nothing else was working!
7:50 AM Baby is entertained by trying to figure out how to remove mitten
7:53 AM Baby is successful at removing mitten and bandage came off with it
7:54 AM Still bleeding! Hold cloth on finger again and begin blog post.
8:41 AM Put fussy baby in swing; it is 5 o'clock somewhere, right?
