Happy Memorial Day!

Graham looks a little droopy in these pictures because he did in fact spike a fever 10 days after his shots. It keeps going higher so we hope it goes away soon.

It was also Graham's first time to try corn on the cob. It was really the only thing we could get him to eat at lunch. We think he liked the novelty of it.

Mo

Graham has a growing affection for Elmo. He calls him "Mo" and loves his new "Mo" pajamas.

Notice the bruise forming on his cheek. Apparently, he ran into a door today at daycare. =(

Ready 2 Rock

This post is for you, Uncle Doug.

Little Sailor

Graham wore his sailor suit to church this past Sunday.

15 Month Check-up

We postponed Graham's 15 month check-up until after our vacation because we had heard the MMR vaccine can cause a fever 10 days after the shot. Daddy stopped and got puffs since there were none in the diaper bag and Graham had missed his snack time. That was a life saver and Graham enjoyed eating them out of the container, putting the lid back on, taking the lid off, eating more puffs, and repeating the whole process. He weighed 21 lbs and 12 oz and was 31.4 inches long. That is 25th percentile on weight and 50th percentile on height.

The bad news is we found out this is not the terrible twos. The doctor said this is just the tip of the iceberg! Prayers are welcome...

Beach Portraits

After dinner on Sunday, we did go back out in the chilly air to take some beach pictures. Considering we took them ourselves and Graham is not that cooperative, I thought they turned out pretty cute! He loved walking on the beach.

Beach Day 3

It was sunny but even cooler on Sunday so we didn't go to the beach until about lunch time. Mommy wore long sleeves and covered up with a beach towel. It was pretty chilly! Graham also took a nap after playing in the sand for a little while.

Beach Day 2

We went to the beach early...well early for us...on Saturday. Graham wasn't sure about the ocean at first, but thanks to Papa, he eventually warmed up and would go running to the water. Before that, he sat contently under the umbrella and played in the sand, which was much preferred to having to chase him! We went to lunch and Graham took a nap. It started getting cooler so we never made it to the beach again that day.

He refused to wear his hat most of the time this day. Also, notice the attachment to the green shovel. It is in just about every picture.

Take a good look at these cute sandals. Graham did not like them at all and refused to wear them to dinner that night. Mommy had planned on him wearing them with just about everything this summer but we're not sure he will wear them again!
