So Many Toys, So Little Time

Now that Graham is feeling better, he is enjoying all of his new toys. He has so many that he doesn't know what to play with next! Mommy and Daddy have got to get his playroom finished so that there is a place to put them all. It is scary to think that his first birthday is only 5 weeks away!

He loves his music table. He likes to make sure something in his playpen is playing music at all times.

Mommy loves these baby blue eyes!

This is a rare moment of Graham sitting in his chair. He climbs into it, stands in it, climbs over it, flips it over, but rarely sits in it.

I thought he would have to "grow into" this barn toy, but he loves it and all of the little animals that came with it. He actually plays with it more than he does a lot of his other toys.

He also uses his music table as a tunnel.

First Christmas

Graham's fever was down on Christmas morning. Santa brought him a rocking horse, a John Deere tractor to ride on, and some blocks. His feet do not touch the ground when he sits on his tractor yet, but we think he will grow into all his new toys. Mommy and Daddy got him some little things and Santa left all kinds of goodies in his stocking. His favorite is his toy remote control that looks like a real Tivo remote. We also made orange rolls like Mommy's family does on Christmas morning. Graham had a taste and seemed to like them. =)

It seems like everyone we know had a white Christmas, which most people in our state had never had. Cousin Ellie even built a snowman at Nana and Papa's house and friends in Bluff Park and Mountain Brook had snow too. However, no snow stuck to the ground in Riverchase. It was just icy and not white at all!

Johnson Family Christmas

On Christmas Eve when we were supposed to go have Christmas at Nana's house, Graham woke up from his nap with a fever of 102.9. We started him on fever medicine, gave him a bath, and were convinced to still go to Nana's since his fever was down some. Graham was definitely not 100% but he made out like a bandit. We didn't get many smiles that night, but his favorite thing seemed to be a Little People barn from Uncle Barry and Aunt Amy. However, I am sure he will love all his toys once he is well again. His fever was 103.4 by the time we got home. The nurse on call told us there was no reason to take him to the emergency room unless it reached 105. Since mommy is now sick too, Daddy slept with Graham in his chair while we waited on Santa.

Baby's Got His Blue Jeans On

His blue jean diaper that is! However, this baby is officially a toddler now. He's progressively walked more and more all week. Daddy got his Christmas wish!

Table Food

We have been gradually trying Graham on table food for a while now but he has never been much of a fan except for maybe biscuits and he loves puffs. He's been trying some things at daycare too. This week we learned that he loves Honey Baked Ham. In these pictures he's eating ham and a strawberry. He made a face after every bite of strawberry but kept opening his mouth for more. He hasn't quite got the sippy cup yet either.

More Christmas

Santa's little helper has been hard at work this Christmas season learning to walk!

Here's some more of Graham's cute Christmas pajamas...

and his smocked snowman outfit.

Here is a picture of Graham's tree in the den.

His stocking is hung and ready for Santa (Maybe next year it will actually be monogrammed with his name. It's a long story.)

He brought home the first Christmas ornament he made at daycare. This is the front...

and this is the back

Wednesday was pajama day at daycare.

Graham's ready for Santa!

The Franks Family Christmas

The Franks family celebrated Christmas at our house this past Saturday. Graham seemed to really have a good time. His uncles played with him so much that he just passed out for his nap.

Graham loved all of his presents from Aunt Ginny and Uncle Jared, but this was his favorite toy by far.

Uncle Jared was teaching Graham how to pull back his new car and let it go.
