Another First

Last night for the first time, we parked both cars in our garage. (Ha! You thought this was going to be about Graham, didn't you?) Why is this blog worthy, you ask? We moved into this house Memorial Day weekend 2009. We found out that we were expecting Graham on the last night of the move. Talk about shock! The whole move had been a whirl wind...we sold our house, bought a house, I finished grad school and passed the PMP exam, took a vacation, somewhat packed, and moved all in a month. I instantly started feeling the woes of pregnancy and did not feel like unpacking anything and Brian was taking a class at UAB. Half of our garage was filled with boxes due to the rush. By September we started on the kitchen remodel and by November we had to stop remodeling and focus on Graham's arrival. We've spent the last 4 months recovering from his arrivial. However, Brian spent the last two weekends cleaning up the garage. It is amazing what things you find when you actually unpack! No, not all boxes are unpacked, but it is organized, you can see the floor, and fit two cars in there. I call that success and am so happy! Now on to the next project...
