My sweet baby is six months old today! It is hard to believe...in some ways it doesn't seem possible that he is that old and in others life before Graham seems like eons ago. We are so blessed and Graham is the perfect addition to our family. It is amazing to think about how much he has grown in the past 6 months and what all he can do now. He really is an angel baby and usually very happy. His schedule is getting more and more regular. When we pick him up at daycare, we bring him home and feed him baby food. He then plays for a little while and gets a bath. Then it is time for a bottle and bed. He is usually asleep between 7 and 7:30. If he is awake at 8 pm, that is a late night for him. He sleeps through the night and usually wakes up between 5 and 6 a.m. He eats; then he plays for a little while and then takes another nap until Mommy gets him ready for daycare. He also usually falls asleep on the way home from daycare and we have to wake him up to feed and play with him. Once, he fell asleep on the way home and slept until the next morning! Now we just make him wake up for his nighttime rituals.
I know some people celebrate half-birthdays with half a cake or cupcakes, but we decided to give Graham a present instead. I could tell he was getting bored with his toys at home so we surprised him with a barn. He loved it! It plays his favorite song - "Old McDonald Had a Farm." He loved opening and closing the gate, and he loved all of the songs that it plays. I think once he is a little more mobile, he will really have fun with it.
Also, this is the first size 9 month outfit he has worn.
